What is it about this narrow way
Where God calls us to walk today
That draws us to its path?
What’s its logic, what’s the math?

To obey the loving Lord
Is reason enough to afford
All our loyalty and love
To His ways that lead above.

Yes, the narrow way indeed
Carries an attraction.
It’s there that God will meet our needs
And frees us from distraction.

The cross where Christ was lifted up
Now draws all men to Him.
Come, die, and truly live
Free from the snare of sin.

The narrow way it leads to life,
Fullness of life it gives!
Because we’re walking with Jesus Christ
And our live is His.

Why gain the world and lose your soul?
Lose your life and find it.
Empty vessels are always full
When yielded to the Spirit.

Safe and sound we abound
With grace to meet each day!
As we follow Jesus step by step
On His narrow way.
