GOOD NEWS!

Jesus is Alive!

2000 years ago, Jesus died on a cross, taking the penalty of our sins upon Himself. On the third day following His crucifixion, God raised Jesus from the dead. Jesus is still alive today, and He wants you to know Him and live with Him forever.

Jesus died for you. He loves you. And He wants you to know who He really is. Would you consider reading the New Testament for yourself while asking God to reveal Himself to you?

God loves us more than we could ever comprehend, but our sin separates us from Him. Jesus died to bridge the gap between God and man that we have brought about by sinning. By trusting in Jesus and turning away from sin, we can have eternal life and a relationship with God - He has made this freely available to us through Jesus' death; we do not need to earn it. Jesus earned it for us!

We can now be forgiven of our sins and saved from their penalty and power because of what Jesus accomplished by dying on the cross for us. Now all people everywhere are commanded to turn from their sin and place their heart’s trust in Jesus Christ who rose from the dead and is alive forevermore. Believe in Jesus and the sufficiency of His substitutionary death on the cross for you. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved! "The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Not by works that we have done,
Our souls redeemed shall be;
But by the blood of God's dear Son,
Who died on Calvary.

- Fanny Crosby, Hymn Writer

Some Bible verses about the salvation Jesus offers:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”

“As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”

“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”

“As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.”

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

“And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.”

“So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.”

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, ‘Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.’ For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
