Relying on the Living Jesus

Are you trusting in the living Jesus?

And all that He has done for thee?

Have you received His great salvation

Purchased on Calvary’s tree?

Have you heard the Gospel message

With a heart of trusting faith?

The day of salvation is today.

Believe in Christ now and be saved!

O’ trust Him now and give Him your heart.

He’s done it all, yes every part!

His work is finished, yes it is done.

Receive His grace by trusting the Son.

We seek His face; the battle is won!

A Good Plan

One day at a time with Jesus - that is the foremost plan.

He is my life; in Him dwells all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He will guide me in His ways.

He knows what I do not, and sees what I can’t see.

He loves me and is faithful to lead me in His paths.

“The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Divine Love Shining

Looking up and laughing with joy for the love

That shines down from Heaven, descending like a dove.

The Father, Son, and Spirit, divinely One, it’s true;

God sent His Spirit to reveal Himself and to fill you.

Power from on high, you will have if you rely

On Him to teach you, comfort, and lead.

The life of the Spirit shall not die, on eagle’s wings you will fly;

And God Himself will meet your every need.

When you feel as though one more step you cannot go,

Look up and trust the God Heaven.

He has given you His Son; “it is finished,” it is done.

The help and hope you need has been given.

The constant provision from the river that flows

From the very throne of the Holy One

Flows to you, making all things new,

Open your heart to Jesus, God’s Son,

Trusting in all He has done.

Though it sometimes feels as though the sorrow has just begun,

In sorrow, see tomorrow, knowing the war is already won,

And that the way of the righteous shines every brighter

Unto the full Day’s sun.

Be With Him

“Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach…” - Mark 3:14

God has always wanted fellowship with mankind. From when our Father said “let us make man in our own image,” to when he instructed Moses in the wilderness to “let them make me a sanctuary that I may dwell among them,” to when Jesus said, “I am with you always even until the end of the age,” the desire of God has been to be with us.

“Surely, I am coming quickly,” is the promise of our loving Lord, and our heart responds “even so, come, Lord Jesus!” Let us bind His words upon our hearts: “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”

“In Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”

Crystal Castle of Song (Children’s poem)

Come see the castle in the middle of the midst of the sea!

Would you hurry, would you scurry over with me?

Grab a boat that will float; and while we go let’s sing a note!

‘Til we reach the beach across the moat

Where the castle’s crystals sing.

Bells ringing, children singing

All throughout its halls.

Warriors watching, rivers rushing

Near the waterfalls

Where the fortress and the feeling

Of protection is found.

Within forests of peace

Its wonders increase

Growing up from fertile ground,

Sending forth sweet fragrance and sound.

The Hope of Glory

Fear and awe, love and reverence, will fill the earth when the skies open. The ancient gates open up and the King of Glory comes, mighty in battle. Jesus Christ in the glory of the Father with ten thousands of His saints comes to judge the living and the dead, and to give to each according to His deeds. This Prince of Peace comes to receive His inheritance: the earth and the fullness thereof. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end. Jesus Christ, still truly God and truly man, will reign from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth. His throne shall endure as the sun.

The kingdoms of this earth shall become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever! The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings and to Him shall be the obedience of the nations.

Jesus is our hope - our blessed hope! We long for His return. And Christ in us now is our hope of glory! What a precious gift this hope is. It settles us and orients us as the anchor of our souls. There is a day of glory coming. The Holy Spirit has sealed us for it. We shall have our mortal bodies changed into the likeness of Jesus’ glorious body. We shall put off corruption and take on incorruption. We will know as we are known, and we shall no longer have this treasure in earthen vessels, but heavenly vessels! We shall see Him and be like Him. On that day we will be saved to the uttermost from sin and self. O’ to be free to love and worship God and commune with Him effortlessly with all of our being. What glory awaits us!

Let the saints be joyful in glory! In the midst of deep darkness covering the earth, let it not cast a shadow on the blessed hope of your heart. Jesus is alive forevermore and is coming for those who long for His appearing. May God in this present dark hour give us boldness to hold forth His Word of life. May He give us wisdom and grace to give an answer to all who ask of this hope that is within us, that He who is the hope of all the ends of the earth may be glorified.
